Stupid daffodils think it's spring
New pic added. Taken with my EOS, and a combined +1 +2 & +4 set of magnifying filters. A lot of them are blooming right now. There has been some warm weeks here in Alabama, followed by really frigid ones.

Are you sure those aren't narcissus?
According to Wikipedia Daffodil is the common English name for all narcissus.
The pic is really great!
